Further north, Washington & Oregon are excellent wine-growing regions. Several Oregon wines are excellent. Washington wines are winning national competitions & a Puget Sound wine sells for $200.

You'd like it here, we have bodegas all round this area and most of Spain.
Drinkable plonk starts at 0.40€ centimos a litre and the good stuff costs anything from 1.50€ for a 75cl bottle, to as much as someone with money to burn cares to pay for a Vega Sicilia.

I luv how our ruling Marxists smirk with fascination upon observing how STUPID our PhD, MD's, etc., so fully splash in their socially constructed plastic child pool of engineered perceptual perfection.

Global 'warming' is simply a separate political layer of our Marxist DC politicals, and a few of their corporate supporters.

Here's something to "whine" about and it includes a nice dose of man-made global warming bovine scatology.

The United Nations plan for the destruction of the western economies and culture:

The World Economic and Social Survey (WESS)
http://www.un.org/en/development/desa/policy/... Economic and Social Survey 2011:

The Great Green Technological Transformation

Limit growth and tax the hell out of all....

“Hence, if, for instance, emission reduction targets cannot be met through accelerated technological progress in energy efficiency and renewable energy generation, it may be necessary to impose caps on energy consumption itself in order to meet climate change mitigation in a timely manner. Proposals to put limits on economic growth can be viewed in this context.”(P.19)

Nobody needs to earn more than $10,000 per year...
“For example, taking life expectancy as an objective measure of the quality of life, it can be seen that life expectancy does not increase much beyond a per capita income of about $10,000. Similarly…cross-country evidence suggests that there are no significant additional gains in human development (as measured by the human development index) beyond the energy-use level of about 110 gigajoules (GJ)(or two tons of oil equivalent (toe) per capita.”

Energy rationing......

“The Survey estimates that the emissions cap would be equivalent to primary energy consumer consumption of 70 gigajoules per capita per year, which means that the average European would have to cut his or her energy consumption by about half and the average resident of the US by about three quarters.”

The U.N. is a bigger threat than al-queda.
