if this happens expect small businesses and even big businesses to cut hours drastically JUST TO BE ABLE TO REMAIN IN BUSINESS. While bigger businesses may be able to remain LONGER IN BUSINESS, sooner than later they too will either close some of their stores plus keep in mind that for things to work out for businesses to remain open they need to be able to afford to pay $12 an hr and would only be able to do so REDUCING HOURS, now how can this help people? you'll get $12 pr hr but work 20 or 15 hrs. Of course, you'll need a second job which might work out but then again MAYBE NOT. Because who is going to accommodate anyone and give them a second job SCHEDULING THEM hours that won't interfere with your first job? Jobs need to be plentiful so companies have to thrive not get shut down. With everyone having a job, people pay their taxes and there is plenty of state revenue and funds but you can't just toss it to just anyone that comes along illegally and demands it. With all these illegal aliens demanding food on their table BECAUSE THEY ARE HERE UNINVITED AND ILLEGALLY, THE MONEY WILL AND HAS RUN OUT !!!! May as well break it up into many states so that each can run it's own with their own governor. California is as failed a state as Mexico is a failed country. Who and what caused it? Unqualified governors and politicians, inappropriate and misuse of states taxes and revenues to undeserving causes and undeserving individuals such as illegal aliens and their families.
