A study wasn't necessary to tell us that the urban heat island effect is negligible, it's obvious that only a minuscule amount of Earth's land surface area is built.
It's fun to see scientists dispute their findings, but then they pick on sceptics for the wrong reason, as usual.
Why do they always get it wrong, sceptics don't claim that the urban heat island (UHI) is a large contributor to Glowbull warming.
The UHI effect contributes to higher readings at temperature monitoring stations.
