Brooks Elementary's Daniel Mullins a finalist for national teaching award
Within about 20 minutes, Daniel Mullins' fifth-graders had used dry-erase boards at their desks to review how to create a factor tree, collected data from a group activity, discussed the mean and median and started a small-group project.

Congratulations Mr. Mullins! That is the kind of teaching we need to have to keep our students engaged in learning. Keep up the good work.
