I am thrilled that they are useing the bible as a literature teaching tool. However, I cant help but wonder about the conflict it will cause. I mean, this opens the door to use the Tora and the Koran as well.

Of course it will. And who will be deciding WHAT from the Bible is taught and how it is taught? There's some more scary stuff.

Will they, for example, teach the Old Testament as if it should instruct us equally as much as many of us choose to be led by the New Testament?

If somebody starts pointing out some of the passages in, say, Deuteronomy, people in foreign nations will be calling believers in the Bible "terrorists." Talk about opening a can of worms!

Daily Horoscope for December 27

Capricorn

You'll have a fabulous time if you're longing to see what's on offer in the sales, especially if you want to buy yourself some new clothes or cosmetics. However, you won't pay much attention to how much you're spending, and may even deliberately avoid thinking about it. Do yourself a favor and don't go overboard if you can't afford it.
