Transpersons are always going going to face some sort of discrimination. Until they come up with a "Magic bullet" of transition or some sort of "Gender Lightening" to be struck with, there will always be those who don't understand it. The thing to do is make yourself indispensible. Work harder, work smarter than everyone else! Be an asset that no one wants to lose! You see hatred and discrimination fade away.

Ah, but then what will those who are attracted to, or prefer trans people, do? If transition is allowed to begin when the person first realizes what they are, that is actually pretty much a "magic bullet," since most know long before puberty. Puberty is the time when the cosmetic differences actually appear. Basically society just needs to stop telling these people something is wrong with them when they're kids.
