Lesson number one: You can't tell your own teenagers/young adults what to eat, how to dress, wear their hair, or who to bed & hangout with. How idiotic for an educational facility to try.

I am mostly vegetarian by choice and I would rebel if told I couldn't be. Why expect any less from attempting to force my way on others.

Just a waste of breath.

Just goes to show how sheep will react when there are no facts in evidence.

Usually, it is the other way around. Too many vegetarians have this morally superior attitude and believe everything they do is above reproach and that everyone should be made to do it. So they want to force everyone to be vegan, be smoke-free, vote Left, hug trees, worship animals, put animal rights before children, and be forced to give up many freedoms, including the freedom to self-destruct, and the freedom of not having mandatory healthcare shoved down their throats.

Of course, that doesn't refer to anywhere close to all. We know how stereotypes and rumors work.

Well they did get the reaction they wanted. It was for a class on logic, they wanted to start a debate and see how people would react. Obvioulsy some people missed that part of the article. They were never going to do it. I bet they would make great debate teachers.

I was wondering if anyone actually read the article...

I thought it was brilliant. These were the types of professors that I actually learned from in college. A professor able to engage students, not some TA who is great at teaching the chalk board (yes, I'm old), but can't talk to students without sounding like a blathering idiot.
