A bachelors degree doesn't always result in a well paying job. As long as people can specialize in a certain area, they will be paid well and have a secure future no matter where one gets their education. A good friend of mine graduated with a 2 year associates degree in the States and is making close to 75k out of college. It is all about supply and demand.
What did your friend get his 2 year associate degree in?

He did radiation therapy. It's the same field I am in but my field is a step above the radiation therapy. Other fields like dental hygiene, physical therapy, nursing are all good paying health care fields that don't take long to complete.
