And maybe you should pay attention to the fact that denying muslim their equal rights is a pattern which occurs all over this country. This is just one of many ongoing attempts to deny their freedom of religion.<quoted text>
This Poll only references Ground Zero. Maybe you should pay attention to the subject at hand.
A majority of New Yorkers remain opposed to a mosque proposed as part of a planned Islamic cultural center near ground zero, and the issue will be a factor for many voters this fall, according to a statewide poll released Wednesday.

While everyone is debating the "correctness" of building a Mosque in a culturally sensitive location the story of a small Greek Orthodox Church that stood directly across from the second tower at ground zero is getting little attention.
St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church was destroyed in the attack on September 11, 2001 and has yet to be rebuilt.
As a matter of fact, despite assurances from the Port Authority that the church would be rebuilt just 100 yards from the original site on which it stood, The Rev. Mark Arey, ecumenical and interfaith officer for the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese, has been told that plans to rebuild "have been taken off the table".
For its part, Port Authority officials say that a final offer to rebuild the church were rejected by church leaders.
Father Arey says that this is not true and that church officials, who have yet to hear from the Port Authority.
I think it should be rebuilt. Its long overdue, he said Wednesday. The real question is why is the Port Authority trying to renege?
The Rev. George Economou, the pastor of St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church in Newport, said he is very upset...
I am puzzled as to why the Muslims would be allowed to build a center so close to Ground Zero while a church that stood at that site many years even before the World Trade Center would get such a run-around.

This wasn't divisive enough for Obama to get involved. He sees no benefit for the progressives mission to divide us all into mere fractions of Americans.
