Kratovil bolsters independent reputation
Rep. Frank Kratovil has broken ranks with the Democratic Party on key legislation throughout his first term, but whether that independence is enough to win re-election in Maryland's contentious 1st District is the question as the 2010 election cycle ramps up.

it's enough for him to lose my vote. I am a disenchanted prior-supporter of Kratovil, who believes we have a moral imperative to extend health care coverage and who believes Kratovil to be a coward for hiding behind "reimbursement problems on the easern shore" as an excuse for not doing what the country needs him to do.

I agree. He is a coward along with many of the other Dems who are not following through with what they were elected for. They let the uninformed minority intimidate them.

He is a coward. I will not vote for him again. Health Care passes without him. He says the cost is too high, well the Iraq war that was based on Bush lies and the bank bailouts that were based on corporate greed cost a lot more.

I'm a Dem and I won't vote for him again. I wish Gilchrest would run as a Dem.
