The director of housekeeping for Rush Univ Med Center is JONATHAN "JACK" STIERS. He was unwilling to face the media and instead had Ms. Wiley do it for him.

The following is the text of a flyer circulated by concerned Rush employees.

"I am writing this letter in hope what I say will finally make a difference I am a current employee of Rush Univ Med Center, and though it saddened me to watch the news and see teh hospital shown in bad condition.

IT WAS VERY MUCH NEEDED.
I see first hand how management (refering to CROTHALL SERVICES GROUP, led by JONATHAN "JACK' STIERS) won't purchase adequate supplies. CROTHALL
needs to be replaced by someone who puts the hospital and it's patients first and not what they can pocket....

How can you not listen to your workers when they bring these conditions to your attention? How can you mislead the customers? How can you have no training for new employees? How can you not maintain equipment? How can you have 40 rooms to clean and not provide a mop till the shift is almost over? I also need to say that the Joint Commission should should have stepped in.

The employees of housekeeping can do what is possible based on what we have to work with....supplies, staff, responsible, management...
Until CROTHALL is removedRush will continue to face these problems.

There are just some things you cannot and should not be cheap with. ESPECIALLY WHEN IT COMES TO A FINE HOSPITAL LIKE RUSH.

Respectfully, A Staff that Cares"

YES, THE WRONG PERSON WAS IN THERE FACING THE CAMERAS. IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN VERONICA FELTON (THE SECOND SHIFT MANAGER FROM CROTHALL SERVICES) SHE IS THE ONE THAT IS NOT TAKING CARE OF BUSINESS. SHE DOESN'T CARE HOW THE HOSPITAL LOOKS.

CROTHALL HEALTHCARE recently LOST their contract at RUSH UNIVERSITY MEDICAL CENTER.
Their BIGGEST account was it?

Do we know why?
