Online education is far more difficult than traditional classrooms settings. The students must prove they understand the material in wrting vs classroom credit.

Most local colleges offer the option of taking some courses online. If you are a very self-motivated person these courses will work for you. You can do the required work at your convenience however, they usually require that certain assignments be turned in at specific times. Assignments not completed and turned in on time are not accepted. Also, some students donít learn as well be just reading the required material; student/teacher interaction helps them better absorb the required material. Online courses can be a good alternative for some students with jobs that donít have fixed hours, allowing them some scheduling freedom but they are not for everyone.
