If this was implimented into existing solar cells, it could increase energy production up to 5% more, or 25% overall efficiency for the latest crystal cell technology. If this was placed into a cell using collection at all seven layers of the substance, then perhaps the solar panels would put out 45 to 50% of the sunlight falling on them as electrical energy. Think of a standard 200 Watt solar panel now and one the same size putting out 400 to 500 Watts.
