Wow very interesting. Let us know how it works out. I would just advise against soap that contains SLS (sodium lauryl sulfate) used often in toothpaste (and soap) to create a foaming action. You can read more about it here: http://blog.therabreath.com/2010/12/washing-y... . Also, if you are having problems with your gums, I would highly recommend products made specifically for gum care. Therabreath has a Perio Therapy line that I use and it has help with my sensitive gums and bleeding. Or perhaps even go deeper than just the surface and try an oral care probiotic. There's a good reference site here: www.proprobiotics.com.Go od luck!

Phil, how nice to write this person back! How about recommending Carifree? Ph is a major issue when it comes to decay! Those 32 different cavitating bacteria.

Soap is never a recommended cleaning agent for your teeth, gums, or mouth. If you would like to find ways to promote good oral health, I recommend you follow the blogs of Dr. Charles Martin of the Richmond Smile Center. Just go to www.richmondsmilecenter.com
