I guess we have come to a conclusion on this thread. Farmers receive corporate welfare and that is why they want Republicans to represent them and vote on the Farm Bill to keep it coming. They vote against the food stamp and minimum wage programs but keep the farm subsidies coming. Now you know why the heart land Red States are Republican. Even simple minded people can understand this.

One of the reasons Mike Pence fought against raising minimum wages, he said it "would make small business farmers have to pay more for help." Now think about it, if farm land is selling for 10,000 per acre why would they not be willing to pay employees decent wage. They are receiving subsidies from the Government, also?
