Obama swiftly lays Bush era to rest

There are 6 comments on the www.sfgate.com story from Jan 26, 2009, titled Obama swiftly lays Bush era to rest. In it, www.sfgate.com reports that:

President Obama's first week in office was short - just four weekdays long, and one of them was lost to the pomp and circumstance of Inauguration Day.

But in the brief time he's been in the White House, analysts say, Obama has issued a series of orders, statements and speeches that convey a single message to America and the world: The Bush administration is over.

Exactly. I wonder what rights he will take away from us when the next 9-11 happens. Bush pulled some funny stuff and this guy will completely raid the barn.

I like to see Obama opens up all gates of opportunity - all ports of entry, north, south, east, and west - for Muslims to come like they did prior to Bush era.

There wasn't a 9/11 until Bush came to power. Bush was the one looking for a fight, and he got one coming from Muslims.

I like to see student visas relaxed and 500 000 new students will come this year alone. USA will then return to great past, now under Obama.

It is strange that from an economic standpoint and a war standpoint he is in lockstep with Bush. Change? Sounds like Bush to me.

When the public stops liking it. The Media is a business, what the customer(the public) wants then that's what they'll get.
