Yeah, well we'll see about that. A lot of peopple backstabbed the f=gay community up here when the council passed same sex marriage several years ago. People that acted like they were cool with gays and lesbains, so long as queers didn't get equal rights including marriage. i will be a skeptic until I actually see it repealed, because there are a lot of back-stabbing passive-aggressive *ssholes in this city and state.

Any person that tells me they NOW support same sex marrige and expect a pat on the back are going to get one question from me. Whee were you five years ago, and did you vote for or against CA36? What a nest of fine hypocrites we have up here. You best believe I'm bitter.

Oregon is a backward, hick, rural state. It is even farther back than Iowa...Iowa. Imagine that.

This is why the votes today in Maine & Washintong are so important. We have to start winning at the ballot box if we hope to repeal the DOMA laws in places like Oregon & California. The courts will only get us so far, then it's going to be up to us to convince the majority of voters that we deserve equal marriage rights.

Daily Horoscope for December 30

Libra

If you're invited to a party or gathering today and you don't know whether to go, you should. You'll have a terrific time and you might meet someone who always makes your knees go weak. Even if it's a perfectly harmless flirtation and you're both happily committed to other people, it will still do your ego good to have a tantalizing conversation with this person.
