Erie-area experts: There's a downside to higher minimum wage

start with 5 dollar gasoline... why not write evey person in the country a check for one million dollars... problem solved.

Gee, I thought the "bbotstraps" crowd would be happy to see people work and get off welfare. But now it's obious wht you really want is to see people suffer and starve. Don't want to pay a decent living wage? That's o.k., we'll just beat it out of you. Elections hae consequences.
