The biggest lesson that should come from most of these cowardly killings is taking the stigma off of suicide. It is time for society to accept that suicide is a viable option. Especially for those that need extreme motivation like killing others to complete their own plan of suicide.
These mass public killings are done by cowards too chicken crap to take themselves out without extreme motivation. By the time you've become suicidal especially at a younger age it means you have given up or been so defeated that you cannot go on. Yes there MIGHT be other options to escape their life of despair but killing someone else needs to be removed as as motivation. And in reality wether it's fate or Darwin some things were just ment be and will never change. Why should someone even want to change their life by terrorizing someone else-this is the motivation that must eliminated.
Just like Japan where many think there is honor in suicide. Japan has a high suicide rate but a low murder rate. Being an older culture they've learned the value and uses of honor including the individual must take responsibility. I'd have much more respect for someone who steps up in this fashion than those who won't accept the fact that things might never change and their actions and status in life sucks. Some times things were never ment to be. Accept defeat in honor rather than make everyone else in the game of life pay for someone else's defeat.
It's time to take the stigma off of suicide if not put some honor in knowing when to quit.
