It's becoming more obvious by the day that research funding is easy pickings if Glowbull warming is anything to do with the study.

Ouch! This fits the pattern. The time period before the onset of the LIA was the same time period this covers.
Our world experienced severe on going doughts, some resulting in the loss of various indigious peoples. The Anasazi in my area. The first of the LIA minimums occurred after that drought.
Solar activity dropped, less warmth results in less evaporation.
Solar activity has again dropped.
Cycle 24 as compared to the last three solar cycles.
