These kids are getting a minimal education at best, to shorten the year is going to make things worse. How do we have billions to send into foreign countries but can't take care of our own? The president of Pakistan is here with his hand out, and he will probably geting a bunch of taxpayer money and won't ever have to pay it back. send him home without a cent. it's time the US looks out for it's best interests, not for countries that hate us and work against us.

consolidate the districts into a few zones fire all the redundant administrators. problem solved. as it stands now 88 districts have their administrative offices bulging with high paid folks who get the big bucks whether the district has 100,000 students or just a 1000 students.
