Same here. They're corporate crooks.

If what I've heard is true, there's at least four public officials in Chateaugay, Burke and Brandon that were paid off by Noble with $50,000 cash.

Well i'm not one to say things...lol.. but don't we live in a capitalistic society where things like this run rampant? If they offered me the flow i'd take it too sad as it might seem how much do most senators and our reps in the capital and in the state legislature. US Senators make $165,200 yearly but this is what you will see * Senator Clinton's Senate Salary:$1,051,606.. How can she make 1.05mil when her pay is 165,200???(Since senators are only required to list their personal finances in broad ranges -$250,001 to $500,000, for example - it is difficult to determine a member's precise net worth. But previous surveys have shown that nearly half of the 100 senators are millionaires.) Nothing but a bunch of privileged crooks we keep reelecting overt and over again because morons who vote don't care who runs there country. So what it boils down to is how much dime can i make either on the level or behind the back door. CAPITALISM in it's best form thats what makes America grewat the rich get richer the middle class get poorer and the poor stay the same

Maybe us people in the north country don't want to put up with these crooks anymore. I am not against wind power. The way some people went about getting it was wrong. The money etc that had been exchanged. We pay a hefty price to live in the north. They could have offered everyone a chance to benefit not just a few whom had the proberty. Just an idea folks!

Burke -- yes, definitely. Brandon -- maybe (they didn't actually get wind turbines, remember? Chateaugay -- I really don't think so. This investigation has more to do with Noble's (and the other companies) STATEWIDE activities. The State AG has heard complaints far and wide, not just in the North Country. Here, Burke is the hot seat of corruption.
