An "interesting" coincidence -- New Jersey City University (NJCU) claims that an employee was able to embezzle about $500,00, last month (August 2010) even though NJCU President Hernandez is a financial expert.(Hernandez has earned more than a million dollars over the past three years, as the Director of Provident Securities).
NJCU President Hernandez's "Provident Securities Directorship" is NJCU President Hernandez's second full-time job.
NJCU President Hernandez holds two full time jobs while NJCU's students fail to graduate at the highest rate in the nation -- and a low-level NJCU employee is able to embezzle $500,000.
So,$500,000 is embezzled, from NJCU, and now the United States Government thinks highly enough of NJCU to give it $600,000.
And, ten years ago (according to the New Jersey Inspector General, letter available) a NJCU professor was investigated, and found to have been a ten-year "total" No-show, at NJCU.
Something's "not to like" here.
PS. I am in possession of three letters, from the New Jersey Commission of Higher Education, stating that President Hernandez used an non-existent academic degree to become the NJCU president.
