Has anyone noticed that the storyline in "Doonesbury" concerns a lousy school with a very low graduation rate deciding to become a for-profit college? It's curious that the problem of schools existing solely for the purpose of collecting federal loan money is such a hot topic at this time. It's also curious that most people assume that it is a problem which affects for-profit institutions only.
