Im starting to wonder if people who are on topix are not the ones pulling the strings with MSU simply to ensure they have the ability to keep talking about nothing. Oh well.. Guess this spits in the face of all the people singing the doom song for MSU

So it lives to fight another day it would seem.

At least this gives students and faculty a better opportunity to plan the end. Even the best and most dedicated student-focused personnel had a difficult time developing a teach out and transfer plan on such short notice.

Why don't you shut your hole. You do not know anything about this and if you keep it up I assure you it can get ugly.

Yup... I knew I could draw you out.

So go ahead, lets see how ugly it can get. Or should I just go back and backtrack what you said two weeks ago given its going to mirror what comes next anyway.

I take it you are not a very bright individual. The appeal will last 10 to 16 weeks until a final decision is handed down, so this will push the accredidation to sometime in October, or November. Of course the HLC will not punish those students due to graduate in December by yanking the accreditation in October, or November, hence the December extension. MSU's fate was sealed once the HLC withdrew the accreditation in June, the appeal will be denied and MSU will be finished come December. This isn't news and anyone with a brain, which excludes you, knew this once MSU announced they would file an appeal. A real clue is MSU's request to extend the accreditation through May of 2013, which was denied by the HLC. This without question is saying that they will review the appeal and deny it sometime in mid to late fall semester, but let those students due to graduate in December do so and then close the doors on MSU.

Or perhaps you could go to any accredited university and take a remedial course on reading comprehension. I never made any statement suggesting the school is not finished. I never made a statement that suggested accreditation would go beyond the appeal that has been allowed.

Reread my statement. You see all I was bringing up was that it seems like a crock of shit that this keeps popping up, almost as if someone is propping it up just so people continue to flood TOPIX with the dead horse that is MSU.

So yeah, be insulting if you wish. Doesnt phase me. But a suggestion, before you go off calling people stupid maybe you should make sure you even comprehended what they said. Its counter productive for the assertion you made.

There was no need for unprovoked hostility and it really didnt accomplish anything now did it?

You created a topic about the accreditation being extended as if this was news, or a light at the end of the tunnel. Secondly, you also stated that this decision spits in the faces of MSU doomsdayers, as if the university has been awarded a second chance. You are the one that needs a reading comprehension course not I, because the topic you created was idiotic an uninformed.

Uhm... Genius... I created nothing. I commented on an existing news article. Or did you happen to just not notice this was posted by "Roboblogger" bot from the Charleston news feed.

Secondly it spits in the face of doomsayers not as the university has a second chance, but because at least for the moment it steals heft from the constant never ending, we need 7 threads out of 10 on the front page of topix regarding MSU.

But NOOOO of course I am the one who needs the lesson and you clearly got a grasp on this whole reading thing. Khey. So again a suggestion, learn how to separate what you know is concrete fact away from the speculative interpretation you have formulated about the subject. Helps you to keep from sticking your foot in your mouth and calling someone else stupid because YOU failed to understand what you or I were talking about.

But given you wrongly assumed I created this topic, it explains why you also misinterpreted the meaning of my message.
