MSU cites changes -- in time for HLC visit
CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Accrediting officials from the Higher Learning Commission visited Mountain State University last week to evaluate whether the school has made sufficient fixes in governance, leadership and collaboration with faculty to justify keeping its shaky university-wide accreditation.

I got a letter from mountain state citing its intent to appeal if hlc strips their accreditation. It doesn't really instill confidence for me as a student

if i finish my class by june, will i be receiving an accred. degree?(not a nursing student)

yes by June. I was supposed to finish in June. I have one class to re-take. I doubt I will be in the accredited diploma pool. arg!
