Man convicted in Morgan State student's death gets life in prison

A Baltimore judge has sentenced a city man to life in prison for killing a Morgan State University student at a party and fleeing to Yonkers, N.Y. Jason Allen, 26, was convicted in January of killing Jeff Payne in the Morgan View Apartments near Morgan State University.

I am very disappointed at the outcome of this case. Especially since there was not any reliable evidence. He deserves a new trial. Especially since my brother Jason is not the real killer. They BCPD and investigators need to find tthe real killer. Everyone that sat in the courtroom with me for his trial heard the witnesses stumble over their own lies that was practiced. Give him a new trial.

HE'S GUILTY DEAL WITH IT. IF HE WASN'T GUILTY WHY DID HE RUN. HE IS A MURDERER AND GOT WHAT HE DESERVED. CRIMINALS FAMILIES ALWAYS SAY THERE INNOCENT. HE DID IT AND NOW HE WILL SPEND THE REST OF HIS LIFE REGRETING WHAT HE DID.

It's real funny how people are so quick to judge. You don't know if he is guilty or not? Were you there when the crime took place? Did you see him pull the trigger? Oh yeah and of course the only reason he would have ran was because he was guilty. Did you ever think that people run because they are afraid for their life. Like maybe they witness the shooting and know who did it, but to protect themselves they left the area. Yeah, nothing like that could ever happen. Don't be so quick to judge, for you might be the one getting judge next time and you would want some mercy.
