I doubt "God" resides anywhere near New Jersey. |

I TOTALLY agree with that, I think God would have nothing to do with Jersey! LOL |

"God?" Really? In Asbury Park, NJ? I sincerely doubt it! Are you Russian? I only ask because it is fairly common for those whose native language is Russian to drop articles like "the" and "a". Can you please describe for us this "lifestyle" that you believe to be a "perversion"? |

Marriage is a perversion? Thats the lifestyle being discussed here. You hate the institution of marriage so much that you believe anyone who attempts to commit to the one they love for a lifetime is a pervert? I hope you aren't married, yourself ... |

i have a question please... if its also considered a marriage then why do some consider themselves "life partners" instead of "my spouse"....(wife or husband) not to be rude but ive always wondered... |

Because before it was considered marriage, that's one phrase people got in the habit of using. |

when i heard people as a couple they would say common law not partners... |

That's nice. What are you trying to say? Obviusly different people have different experiences other than what you personally have heard, yes? Gay people have no generally accepted standard of what to call each other, because of the way we have been left out of society. Some call each other partner, spouse, husband, boyfriend - sometimes they are interchangable. I know gay people who refer to what I would call boyfriends as "husband." I will often use "husband" in front of family and friends, but sometimes if I don't feel like getting into a whole big thing, I'll say "partner" when talking to strangers. I will not accept "friend" or "boyfriend" or anything that sounds less than husband, spouse, or partner. But that's just me. There are those who, after being rejected by society and not allowed "marriage" would never use the term "husband." Everyone is different. I imagine it will head closer to uniformity when gay marriage is legalized everywhere. |

thanks for the explanation... i had always wondered... |
