I don't think even Bush will want to repeat a pardon which seems anywhere close to that of Mark Rich.

Poor Bernie Ebbers. Og course Bush will pardon him. He's an awful person and a criminal to boot. That's Bush's favorite kind of person.

Bush might even hire him for some sort of criminal activity.

Bernie Ebbers ruined the savings of countless WC employees. Rest assured he has money hid away and also with his kids. His daughters have million of dollars in their own names. If he gets out after serving only two years of a 25 years sentence, after a 11 Billion dollar scheme to cook the WC books it will be a slap in the face of all employees and investors. But if he gets out he will live like a king, he will buy a new set of friends and live a happy quiet life.

I AM one of those people who lost everything because of Ebbers - I still have his sentencing on my bulletin board using his FACE as a dart board.

I just can't let go of this after my husband lost all of his 401K after 25 years with the company which resulted in him not being able to stay in his career since no one wants a WorldCom employee.

So, we had to then sell our cabin and property in W.VA and condo in OC just to survive!!! Now we will retire as part time workers instead of what we had planned for.

I worked for WCOM too. I hope he did not get this pardon.

Yes, if he ever gets out he will live like a king. He sure did ruin it for a lot of us. When I think that MCI could have been acquired by other companies, and things would have not turned out so bad for us.
