On Dec. 31, 2009, Northwest Airlines flew its last flight out of St. Cloud, ending a long relationship with the airline, which is now a part of Delta.

People want low fares and now they got it. In order to compete with low fare carriers, airlines will have to axed unprofitable and control cost.
