Michelle Bachmann isn't insane

Jun 16, 2011 Full story: www.boxturtlebulletin.com 237

I mean, not as in literally incapable of perceiving reality. She’s not actually mentally challenged.

Right?

I mean, surely it would be obvious. Surely someone in the Republican leadership would say, “hey, she’s not just opinionated, she’s actually certifiably nuts!”

Right?

But I just have no other way of explaining this story:

The article makes a great point that she is *provably* spineless for this incident. Never mind that she's a joke. She stands little chance of becoming president, which is a good thing. She strikes me as the type of person who'd look into the eyes of the weeping woman who's been raped and says, "But you must have the baby; otherwise, it is a sin." EXACTLY the type of person she strikes me as.

I think she has an excellent chance of being elected President.

After all, we got Obamaniac, right ?

His new campaign slogan he just announced: "FOUR MORE WARS !:)" (to rev up that economy and bring the unemployment rate down to 10%!)

RUN, OBAMMY, RUN !

The Republicans are KNOWN for ONLY having wars, wars for oil, wars for profits for corporations. By the time all you peopl can say is that Bush's two 12 year wars that killed the country were started by Obama, turn off the computer and go to rehab. Forget about posting stupid hillbilly crapola. You people believe any lie Beck spews out of his mouth. The evil, grifter is leaving in another week, and you losers have no one, can't read one book ever, know nothing, so you still repeat Beck's insane lies knowing he lost his career in two short years over being the world's biggest liar. That is ALL you have on Earth, to repeat Glenn Beck. All of you people have IQs that are so low, you should not be allowed to vote, period.

I didn't vote for Obama. I am a Ron Paul supporter. I'm just telling you Bush and Obama ran up 5 trillion dollars of debt. I'm telling you both parties leave the southern border open and Reagan passed an amnesty and Bush wanted to. Ron Paul says both parties are totally corrupt, the Dems run up debt for welfare while the Repubs run up debt for wars. If you don't like the Dems' policies, fine, but, why bother blaming the Republicans policies, wars, onto the Dems. At least figure out what it is that both parties actually do. Dems are the big spenders here, not overseas. It is ridiculous that everyone supports 10 years of wars under Bush, and that is where the real money was spent, not in Libya, and now everyone complains about Bush's wars, trying to pin them on Obama. He did bring a lot of troops home from Iraq, we ARE leaving Iraq, and now both parties are trying to bring most of our troops home from Afganistan. It has to do with both parties finding out we are broke, America tried to only use its military mite to run the world and it went broke from it. Both parties found out the hard way. But, it is the Republicans who will get you in a huge, multi-trillion dollar war in Iran. Fox is setting this up, has been for over a year. You all try to pin the Repubs wars on a Dem, makes no sense. You hate Obama turning Libya over to NATO, getting us out of the lead, then complain about being in wars, and you will turn right around and let O'Reilly and Hannity tell you to bomb Iran, and you will cheer it all on. You people only do what TV tells you, Ron Paul talks about how nothing real is ever discussed on TV. It's all a sales pitch in order to get you to vote the way the billlionaires on TV want you to vote. When you have three people on TV running our elections, you have lost all freedom, all democracy.

Frank, darling, aren't you the one who ran around ranting and raving that President Obama would never end DADT ... that he was secretly determined to keep it in place?

I realize that you were very disappointed when DADT was, in fact, repealed. And I know it really chapped you when Obama extended benefits to the same-sex partners of federal workers.

I know that you're mostly ticked off because President Obama actually went after Osama bin Laden and then had the gall to succeed.

Can't you just let bygones be bygones and forgive Obama for making the country a little more livable for its GLBTQ citizens, and a little safer for everyone?

Don't you love Ron Paul? Who else in this country is that smart and that honest, has that kind of integrity? I read his book "End the Fed." Wow. He knows about every economic cycle this country has ever had. Wow. Now I am reading his book "The Revolution." From what he says in the book, a lot of people, like myself, caught onto the fact that he has something to really offer in 2007, when he ran for president. That's when I saw him, and I knew he was honest and that he was on to something. Apparently there are a lot of us out there, who caught onto what he was saying in the presidential debates in 2007. He is THE answer. He is all there is, all we need, all we need to know. I just love this guy. One of the things he talks about in his book is how when you have welfare, no one helps anyone, everyone is separated, not in community groups. It actually causes nothing but problems. He understands where this country's social problems are coming from. What doesn't he understand? If he was our president, people would be kinder, they would become human beings again, IMO.

You Libsa re spreading lies again as usual. He has NOT "ended DADT" (gleefully signed into law by a DEMOCRAT). He just had a gay airman thrown out of the USAF under DADT. And what if one or more of the 4 service chiefs do NO "sign off" on DADT as the law requires ? What then ? Is he going to repeat Clinton's famous line, "Well, I tried," ?

Bachman is a rabid homophobe, obviously. She's also paranoid delusional. Likely with schizoid tendencies. I'd like to see a psych workup on her--it would be an interesting read.

She doesn't stand a chance of being elected President--she's too far off the right end of the field. But, she has a pretty good chance of winning primaries, and possibly the nomination. In the current political climate, a cherry vanilla baptist woman has a few more points on her side than a middle-leaning mormon old white guy, no matter how much better qualified he is. There is a great deal of growing prejudice against old white guys (which is not to say other categories don't experience more prejudice and less prevelige... I'm just sayin'.)

The DNC will save their ammo until they know who their target is, and if she takes the primaries, then it's gonna be like an artillery barrage. Every crazy thing she's said and done in the past will be paraded into the public spotlight over and over....And there are a number of those skeletons in her closet. Meanwhile, President Obama's approval rating is at it's lowest, which is still higher than Bush's average approval rating for his entire 2 terms. It's gonna be pretty hard to unseat the guy who finally killed Bin Laden, after four previous administrations (three republican and one democrat) failed to do so.

And with the DADT repeal, the DOJ's recusal from defending DOMA, and Obama installing more open LGBT people to federal posts than any other president in history, I'll happily stand up, wave my little rainbow flag, and say "four more queers!"

Bachmann may not be insane but she lacks intelligence and the ability to see the logic it takes to tackle any issue and just lacks good old common sense. Just because some one wears any kind of name tag does not mean much unless they can perform with intelligence, logic and common sense. I doubt she will make the grade to even get on the ballot.

I truly believe Bachmann is, indeed, insane. I've thought so from the first time I saw her being interviewed on television several years ago.

The first thing I noticed was that she kept staring into the camera, unblinking, like a deer caught in the headlights. The second thing that caught my attention was her frozen half-smile which never changed ... unless she was speaking. Then I began to listen to her. If she was interrupted with a question, she never answered it, but simply went back to the beginning of her talking point, and then repeated what she had already said word for word.

I was so creeped out I started to tell all my friends about a certifiably crazy politician from the state of Minnesota who looked and acted like a refugee from "The Stepford Wives". Most people had never heard of her at that point, but the few who had emphatically agreed that she was paranoid, robotic, and very frightening.

Personally, I think she's a gift to the Democrats, just as Sarah Palin was back in 2008.

I have also found Bachmann horribly fascinating, like a terrible car wreck. I had forgotten the killer nun story, but even at the time I found that amazing and WEIRD and did NOT say much about Bachmann's spine. If some hostile leader from some other country asked her some difficult question is she going to run to the ladies' room and hide?

She is like Sharron Angle, the running candidate, who would run for cars every time someone asked her a question she did not want to hear.

Bachmann is of the Palin school of "press conferences", fill the room with toadies, have planted "questions" which make it easy to sing her prearranged songs, and if asked some difficult question deflect and blather until the person who asked forgets the original question.

Bachmann did not even make it onto the Fox polls. The tea party loons don't like her because she has a law degree. They hate smart women, don't forget. They still rank Palin number two, they only like really dumb women with no law school who are bad parents. If Bachmann is not even on the poll, she has no chance. She would have to have made all mistakes like Palin does, come off really dumb, never admitted she is a tax attorney and never admitted she is a good mother in order to get the KKK trailer trash to support her. She has too many conservative values to be the tea tards' conservative candidate. When the hillbillies say they like "conservatives" what they mean is they like people living in trailers who don't raise there kids who are dumb as a box of rocks, who lie all of the time and who pit people against each other. Those are the values the tea party has.

Well, Herman Cain is going to round up all of the Muslim people, Bachmann is going to round up all of the gay people, next they will come for women, no more right to vote for women, next they will come for Herman Cain's people. Once you start saying everyone has rights except those people, it opens the door for every single group to be "those people." While we are at it, why not deny voting rights to every tea party person who has a low IQ? Let's go after the morons next, round them all up.
