Why don't they study the effects of motor vehicle pollution pollution before condemning cigarettes and nicotine?

Everyone knows motor vehicle pollution is bad for ones health. If you haven't noticed, over the last few years cars have become much cleaner. First we got the lead out of gas and then put in pollution controls. Do you know what a catalic converter does?(other than cost an arm and leg #@*%*) Are you aware that in many areas, cars must go through emmisions test every year or so? Are you aware of new emmisions standards as they apply to cars and trucks?
Don't you know we now have new cleaner diesel fuel, and all new Big-Rig diesel engines are much cleaner than the old ones? >:~)

Sorry about that, "upset upstate new yorker." My post should have been tied in with the one, Danny made.
Matter of fact I couldn't care less about you being upset with what the cigarette tax is in South Carolina. Unless you are a smuggler, or plan to be, what's it to you?
I'm only assuming you are a smoker. If you are, I hope you show a little personal and/or civic pride and don't chuck your cigarette butts all over the place. If you do, please stop doing it! Thanks. >:~}
