You mean medicine has decided that they have had enough time to crow about insulin and the dozen other drugs that have come to the market.
Let's try to understand this disease.
I would suggest that they attach themselves to stem cell research and look for a cure as opposed to managing the disease with expensive, life long medications that are not without their own side effects.
I guess it depends on where the $250 to $350 million dollars comes from.
