According to Marist , the popularity of Mayor Mike Bloomberg has taken a tumble: "Less than half of New Yorkers, 49%, think Mayor Bloomberg's doing a good or excellent job in office -- exactly the same percentage as thought so in 2005, right before he ran for his second term, according to a new Marist poll.

He should not have circumvented term limits for his ego. Guiliani tried following 9/11 and Bloomberg protested. What does Bloomberg do? The exact same thing, but is successful. He stole the election and at what cost? His reputation and to the detriment of a pretty decent record. They always get too greedy, egomaniacal, and conceited when they've been in power. They can't let it go.

Bloomberg is another idiot who thinks he is smarter than everyone else, so the laws and people's freedoms don't matter anymore. Because he thinks something is good or bad is the only thing that matters. He wants to be an Emperor and put out edicts, not have to go through our Democratic process. He is used to being a CEO where everyone bows to his every whim and Heaven help anyone who disagrees.

The third term does them in. Too much Cuomo. Too much Bloom-bug.

It's not that they like the job. Just nothing else for them to do - and it shows.
