Gov. Paterson to take pay cut amid fiscal woes
With his state facing a $14 billion budget deficit, Gov. David Paterson says he will take a 10 percent pay cut, but won't ask staffers and lawmakers to do the same.

This guys needs to go. 10%? really? and the rest of his staff who get paid $100000 a year on our dime don't have to? Mr Patterson is trying very hard to never be elected for a 2nd term.

Peter I agree with you. Paterson needs to go, a whole 10% pay cut, OMG he might go broke at 10%. This man is destroying this state, I mean it is bad, but he is making to so bad that I would not be surprised if most of the people living here didn't leave to go to a new state. I love New York and living here, but this guy is making it so horrible, that there will be nothing left of it when he is done. Hey Paterson, the best thing you can do for New York state is just resign, 10% pay cut, HA take more, be a MAN!!
