Longwood University Increases Tuition

Longwood University's Board of Visitors approved a 4.1 percent increase in tuition and mandatory fees for the 2013-14 school year, bringing that cost for in-state students to $11,340. Why are you people surprised? Why would tuition increases be any different from the price of bread, milk, gas, etc... anything in our economy. It has to keep up with inflation.
