The Harding kids (and most of the professors) are great. They'll do anything to help the needy.
The Harding administration though, will do anything, if theres money or good publicity in it.

ok, what's your point? the world revolves around money, and without advertising you can't pull in more money, without more money you can't help people like the people in haiti. what's your point?????? get over it.

Harding is about to suck this place dry.
They preach that everybody is going to hell except for them, but they want everyone's money and all the tax breaks they can get. Even their profs don't pay taxes on their homes or most of their income because they're all "preachers".
They already ran Books-A-Million out of town for what they ridiculously consider 'pornography', surprised they didn't just burn it down.

Seriously dude...you don't have any proof of that whatsoever. Get real!

A half truth here. It was not directly HU. Instead it was an individual that headed up pressure to have BAM closed.

I think I know the point you're trying to make, but no need to lie to make the point. Does HU control the town...yep, pretty much. Personally, I would love to have a beer out a Chili's and it ain't gonna happen as long as HU is here...but the bottom line is that you don't need to misrepresent the facts to voice your opposition to their conservatism. Republicans, although in the minority are a very vitriolic and controlling group of people if you do not see things their way.

aren't we getting off of the topic of what this is... Harding is helping out people who are really in need of help and most of you seem to only care about whether or not a book store is here in Searcy or Harding trying to get there name out into public. People in Haiti have died or been injuried and at least Harding is trying to do something good whether it is for public viewing or not.Sounds like to me that most of you just need to complain about Harding and focus on the bad instead of the good it actually does, like helping Haiti. At least they try to get things done instead harp on the past which really does not amount to a hill of beans at the end of the day as it does to help someone in need of aid.

Sounds to me if they wanted to help they would help people around here like help women who are abused or the homeless or elderly people who can't afford to pay their electric bills or medication. But, there is not a damn thing around here that helps people which is so pathetic since we have all these fancy churches around. Saying that they are helping Haiti just puts them in the public eye and that's the only time the churches around here wanna help someone.

Harding like pub and pay no tax.
Why tell me what to read.
They want us no drink, no dance, no cuss, no smoke, no laugh, no have fun but they hide all problems just holler at elsewheres.
We got churchs too just as good.
