Here is some Corbin History. Nellie Giles was the first Woman firefighter in Corbin. Pauline Burgen was the first woman Police Officer in Corbin. Are you looking for History in Corbin or just any History?

Yeah I sort of agree too. The city Main Street program could be doing so much. Concerts, lectures and wagon rides are not very effective for making main street look better and I think that should be first and foremost. I will give everybody an A for effort but maybe it is a hopeless cause.

One of these days our good mayor may just wake up and see that he is wasting money on this. The program is doing everything but fix up main street which is what it was supposed to do. They try to do tourism but there is already a tourism commission. What was he thinking when he started this?

I was very excited about this program when it first started. I thought it would make our downtown look better. Instead all that has happened is some lectures and little festivals and stuff. I guess that is OK but it is not what everyone expected. Is there a plan yet to do some improvements to the way downtown looks? I have not heard anything about a plan.
