Obama family in the White House wouldn't make it less white

Jul 13, 2008 | Posted by: Top Ex Ed | Full story: www.star-telegram.com

With the help of a 1972 movie that most people have never seen, I want to say something about Barack Obama’s candidacy that many people (especially white people)are thinking, but wouldn’t say aloud except to their closest friends.

Black History wrote:
Why Martin Luther King, Jr. was a Republican
By Frances Rice
It should come as no surprise that Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was a Republican. In that era, almost all black Americans were Republicans. Why? From its founding in 1854 as the anti-slavery party until today, the Republican Party has championed freedom and civil rights for blacks. And as one pundit so succinctly stated, the Democrat Party is as it always has been, the party of the four S's: Slavery, Secession, Segregation and now Socialism.
It was the Democrats who fought to keep blacks in slavery and passed the discriminatory Black Codes and Jim Crow laws. The Democrats started the Ku Klux Klan to lynch and terrorize blacks. The Democrats fought to prevent the passage of every civil rights law beginning with the civil rights laws of the 1860's, and continuing with the civil rights laws of the 1950's and 1960's.
During the civil rights era of the 1960's, Dr. King was fighting the Democrats who stood in the school house doors, turned skin-burning fire hoses on blacks and let loose vicious dogs. It was Republican President Dwight Eisenhower who pushed to pass the Civil Rights Act of 1957 and sent troops to Arkansas to desegregate schools.
President John F. Kennedy voted against the 1957 Civil rights Act while he was a senator, as did Democrat Senator Al Gore, Sr. And after he became president, John F. Kennedy was opposed to the 1963 March on Washington by Dr. King that was organized by A. Phillip Randolph who was a black Republican.
In March of 1968, while referring to Dr. King's leaving Memphis, Tennessee after riots broke out where a teenager was killed, Democrat Senator Robert Byrd, a former member of the Ku Klux Klan, called Dr. King a "trouble-maker" who starts trouble, but runs like a coward after trouble is ignited. A few weeks later, Dr. King returned to Memphis and was assassinated on April 4, 1968.
Given the circumstances of that era, it is understandable why Dr. King was a Republican. It was the Republicans who fought to free blacks from slavery and amended the Constitution to grant blacks freedom (13th Amendment), citizenship (14th Amendment) and the right to vote (15th Amendment). Republicans also started the NAACP and affirmative action with Republican President Richard Nixon's 1969 Philadelphia Plan (crafted by black Republican Art Fletcher) that set the nation's first goals and timetables.
Few black Americans know that it was Republicans who founded the Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
Today, Democrats, in pursuit of their socialist agenda, are fighting to keep blacks poor, angry and voting for Democrats. Examples of how egregiously Democrats act to keep blacks in poverty are numerous.
Democrats have been running our inner-cities for the past 30-40 years, and blacks are still complaining about the same problems. Democrats blame Republicans for the deplorable conditions in the inner-cities, then incite blacks to cast a protest vote against Republicans.
This is true. It was the dems who hated blacks and who were the KKK and so forth.

Palin’s church, the Wasilla Bible Church, gave its pulpit over to a figure viewed with deep hostility by many Jewish organizations: David Brickner, the executive director of Jews for Jesus.

Brickner described terrorist attacks on Israelis as God's "judgment of unbelief" of Jews who haven't embraced Christianity.

"Judgment is very real and we see it played out on the pages of the newspapers and on the television. It's very real. When [Brickner's son] was in Jerusalem he was there to witness some of that judgment, some of that conflict, when a Palestinian from East Jerusalem took a bulldozer and went plowing through a score of cars, killing numbers of people. Judgment — you can't miss it."

Palin was in church that day, according to Palin's pastor, Larry Kroon.

Shame on Sarah Palin for not standing up against the anti-semite 'Jew' Brickner.

She already lost a LOT of Jewish votes.

Great, just what we needed. A community organizer, who has voted present, the entire time he's be an elected official. Has not written 1 single bill into law. Has not written 1 single bill that has failed to become law.
"Yes, We, Can" alright,
Yes we can sit back and do nothing,
Yes we can pull the wool over everyone's eyes, Yes we can still allow my brother to live in a hut,
Yes we can smear the crap out of good people's reputations for our own political gain,
Yes we can lie like a dirty rug,
YES WE CAN!!!! YES WE CAN!!!! YES WE CAN!!!!

We must move forward and elect McCain and Palin to the white house.

We have no room for a terrorist in the white house like Obama.

He will ruin our country and he will bring shame to us all.

One more question? If Mr. Obama becomes president do the poor white people of this country get to come under affirmative action ... can we whine about everything we don't like because we're white?

1. In the wake of the controversy over Obama's Muslim upbringing, The Los Angeles Times sent a reporter to Jakarta to ferret out the truth.
The Times report, published on March 16, 2008, revealed:
A close boyhood friend of Obama, Zulfin Adi, said Obama "was a Muslim. He went to the mosque."
Obama's first-grade teacher at a Catholic school, Israella Dharmawan, said: "Barry (Barack's nickname) was Muslim. He was registered as a Muslim because his father was Muslim."
In the third grade, Obama transferred to a public school, where he was also registered as a Muslim. At the school, Muslim students attended weekly religion lessons about Islam.
Some of these details have been confirmed by Obama himself. In his autobiography, "Dreams From My Father," Obama mentions studying the Koran and describes the public school as "a Muslim school."

2. Iran’s leadership has expressed “great pleasure” at the prospect of a Barack Obama victory in November, according to Menashe Amir, the Iranian-born head of Radio Israel’s Persian language service.
But Iranian President Ahmadinejad has said he doubts that the American establishment “will allow” Obama to win.
“One of the Iranian religious leaders said if Obama will enter the White House, then Islam will conquer the heart of the American nation,” Amir told Isracast.com .
The Iranian leadership likes Obama “mainly because he is a Muslim,” according to Amir. His first name, Barack, comes from “al-baraq,” which is the name of the horse that Muslims believe Muhammad rode on his way to paradise.
His middle name Hussein is also a Muslim name, and he was “born in a Muslim family,” said Amir.

3."Obama's political career is based entirely upon relationships he developed with far left radicals in Chicago, from race-hustling ministers, to old Marxists and communists, to the infamous domestic terrorists in whose home he started his improbable political run."
"The caricature based upon rumors associated with Barack Obama in the New Yorker is distasteful. A picture based upon just the facts would be even more inflammatory."

I will believe it when Obama is elected. A lot of people say they would vote for him, but when it really comes down to it, they vote their fears instead of their heart. It has happened before; a black man was running for an elected position in California. He was leading in all the pre election polls, however, he lost the general election.

Well you and millions of others, that is for sure..honesty seems to be a thing to be feared. If BO was a white man, no one would even look at him twice..He would shunned as a nothing and a nobody..it is fashionable to make others think you support blacks..even when they don't deserve it...I give you much credit for being candid.

The poor of all races will stay poor..and they don't care as they don't own anything nor do they pay taxes. It could however effect ppl on disability and SSI as payments could be cut..The working poor will get poorer. The middle class will slide down to the working poor..the rich get richer.
