Seth Stambaugh Booted From Oregon Elementary For Telling Students He Cannot Marry Another Man

Oct 3, 2010 | Posted by: Rick in Kansas | Full story: www.queerty.com

Seth Stambaugh, a 23-year-old graduate teaching student at Lewis & Clark College, says he was removed as a student teacher at a Portland, Oregon area elementary school because he told students he is gay. Or was it because he dared discuss the state's same-sex marriage ban?

Why do we need adult homosexuals discussing their homosexual behavior and homosexual politics w/ elementary age school children?
Homosexuals/NAMBLA will scream "bigot" if denied access to prepubescent children.
Homosexuals should prey on other adults and infect each other with AIDS, leave the kids out of it.

I wonder if the "NATIONAL ORGANIZATION FOR MARRIAGE" would care to comment on whether you, specifically, in making comments of this ilk on this board, are speaking *for them* or representing them in any way as a spokesperson.

I'm sure someone here would be happy to find out.
Donate2NOM wrote:

You and others like you *very, very, very deliberately* misstate the issue and *very, very, very deliberately* turn it into a problem. I promise you that if gay people cannot discuss their lives or act normal about them, straight people are going to be slowly and chokingly restricted about what *they* can say, too.

You confuse sexual orientation with sex. You do it deliberately.
Donate2NOM wrote:

This is even exponentially worse and the very kind of lie that makes people like you responsible for the deaths and suicides of these gay kids. I wonder what way you would find to deny that claim, since people like you lie about it

one hundred percent (100.0%) of the time

and make excuses.
Donate2NOM wrote:

No one needs your advice on this matter. Your lack of a moral code excludes you from sensibility or sound judgment. The concern for the children *comes from sensible people*, not from people like you.

Last I checked, "nom" wants to rape families and their little children of their rights. As someone who calls upon other posters to "support" the organization known by the acronym "nom," you *don't* support the kids, as you support this knowing, deliberate, methodical state-by-state rape.

But hey, make excuses for that. Lie about it. It's easy to trap people like you and then watch you lie, thus showing the boards who and what you really are.

Get to it, pustulent, infected puppet.

rdg is the one defending homosexual adults discussing their sex life and politics w/ little kids, as if normal people would support a heterosexual pedophilic "teacher" doing the same. Not surprising how it's only homosexuals who'll do anything to get their proselytizers into the schools to start discussing sexuality with children as early as possible.
Kids wouldn't be so messed up if they weren't constantly sexually-harassed by homosexuals about homosexuality instead of just teaching them how to read, do math, learn history, i.e. maybe just a few non-homosexual subjects of actual academic value.
Why do kids need to start hearing already about homosex in ELEMENTARY SCHOOL?!
But no. Reading, math, history are "bigoted" unless they're allowed as an afterthought to the daily hour or three lecture on homosexuality.
Elementary age kids aren't as interested in all things homosexual as obsessed perverted adults think they are. The whole hypersexualization of kids is completely inappropriate and highly suspect.
Homosexuals should have their own schools and leave everyone elses' kids alone.

One would hope. Normal healthy people would find something sick and wrong talking to little kids about sex and their sex lives every day.

I'm an old man now but I remember when I was in grade school a similar thing happened to my 5th grade teacher. She had announced to us that she and her boyfriend were going to be married and that we were going to have a substitute teacher for two weeks. The next day we tried talking to her about it and we were told to be quiet and not mention it again. there were enough of us who wanted to know why we weren't allowed to put on a congratulatory party for her that the truth came out. The reason the school principal put a stop to anything concerning this particular teachers wedding when it was usually a big thing when a teacher got married was because her fiance was a black man and she was white. She had been told to either stop the marriage or stop teaching at our school. She chose him and we got a new but much less liked teacher. I heard about her a few years ago when they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. It's the same now as it was then, the know nothing, holier than thou nazis like the ones in the nom want no more than to hear their own voices, no matter what the truth is.
As for the young teacher and his soon to be husband, remember this story when you celebrate your own 50th wedding anniversary. Good luck in both your marriage and your teaching career.

I did not read this entire post. This is the type of nonsense I will no longer fully address on the boards. I want it noted, however, publicly, that this poster directly and specifically conflates sexual orientation with acts of sex, and directly and specifically conflates gay orientation with pedophilia.

This poster is, moreover,*NOT* a representative of the "national organization for marriage" because they wouldn't touch this poster with a ten-foot pole. They repeatedly and doggedly *distance themselves* from people of this ilk, despite their virulently anti-gay attitude, because this person is saying things that within a year could be ACTIONABLE IN COURTS OF LAW. Pro-gay groups have begun a new push to add sexual orientation to civil rights laws.

This would basically make it a very, very big deal to be telling lies like this poster is telling.

I look forward to it with very, very cold glee, indeed. I couldn't be happier.

Meanwhile, the teacher did nothing wrong and should sue the school district, which is *PROBABLY* what's going to happen, as it often happens in these cases. I applaud this action thunderously.

This is the great anti-gay lie. There is *no* such "majority" that "believes in" such sentiments. I, too, can sit on random message boards and claim that a majority of Americans want gay marriage when the number hovers between 50 and 55 percent.

The anti-gay repeatedly and stubbornly claim that "everyone" shares their sentiments. Where, then, are all the posters arguing with them *coming from*? Another planet?

Hmmmm?

This is just so moving to me.

It is incredible to me that over and over and over, people in this nation scream, scream, scream; and then, worse, when you compare this to black rights, they screech, screech, screech.

How many parallels do we have to see before they are *choked* into admitting that there are NUMEROUS similarities between gay rights and black rights?

So interesting and so funny that a school would go hysterical over an issue that *EXACTLY* parallels the current situation.

And the marriage lasted.

Despite a 50% divorce rate.

Indeed, sir, one word in your post summed up the opposition: Nazis.

Look at the "nom" and "becky" posters in this thread. Blind, deaf, unseeing. One of them purports to be a "christian." Her own bible describes just how blind and deaf some will be ... and as it predicts, she sees and hears nothing except the voices of demons.

The homosexual movement is far more similar to Nazism in that kids are fed years of brainwashing until they succumb to the propaganda.

Your analogy is flawed for several reasons.
Homosexual behavior is not the same as race. Most black people find it highly offensive to be used as an example by homosexual activists as though blacks are just like homosexuals.
Secondly, in your story, you say that your teacher made a brief announcement she was getting married and left it at that.
Today's homosexual activists in the schools lecture the children every day about their sexual behavior in the bedroom, homosexual politics, and demanding that children acknowledge they are already homosexuals and were born that way. Yeah, I started to read this and you're just full of rotting shit. If you want to take your crap to a court of law, "good luck" to you. Any educated person can see through it. I stopped reading at, "Gay is not comparable to race." How often do you say that only to be shot down?

Believe whatever faith-based superstitions comfort you Princess, but one's race can be determined scientifically through analysis of DNA. One's sexual preference cannot.

Of course it's a choice, you just agreed with me in your first sentence and disagreed with Princess rdg.
There's no scientific proof it's not a choice, a preference, a lifestyle.
You can cry with Princess rdg that there's no scientific proof for the political/sociological fairy tails you were told and want so desperately to believe, but I'm right and you're wrong.

Not yet means not yet. Are you really just ignorant or just plain stupid? If you are it's because stupid is genetic. And no one needs a DNA test for that, as you readily evidence.

... you have no way of proving this; you just made a statement ... and where's? the? proof?

Hmmm?

You really don't get it, do you. You need proof.

And not only that. That's just the beginning of it.

What if sexual orientation is controlled by *the absence* of DNA?

Hmmmm? By *missing* genes, not genes that are present?

Oh, and if it turns out to be a preference?... how in the name of god do you think that will help your cause?

RELIGION is a preference.

You *really* want to go that route? You really want to put orientation on the same footing not as race,

but as religion?

You don't think before you type, do you.

Hey, keep pushing the matter. You do that. I want to watch how it affects you when you learn *that it doesn't change the debate*.

See, some of the pro-gay won't answer you because they feel they have no way to "trump" you. To me, YOUR VIEWPOINT IS TRUMPED and I need only explain *how and why*... each and every time.

Yet you keep coming back for more.

This is a complete lie about the content of the previous poster's post; it is another "ad hominem" attack upon me; and it does zero to help your cause.

Why do you cry and call names because you are in a place where people do not care whether you live or die? Why does that bother you? I am under no obligation to care whether you win the littery or choke to death. My lack of concern is governed by no law and I am under absolutely no obligation.

Most people are afraid to exercise their prerogative to that lack of obligation.

I am not, trust me.

Most people say it, but don't really mean it.

I am not one of them, believe me.

You want to get ugly, you will be treated as if you are ugly.

Don't let it frighten you so much that you start calling names. Grow the ***k up and get a backbone, instead.

Yet for some weird reason, science and biology *haven't announced this* in headlines worldwide.
