Washington and Lee University Suspends Phi Kappa Psi Over Taser Hazing
Washington and Lee University suspended one of its fraternities for three years on Wednesday after one member used a Taser on a pledge, college officials said. No one was seriously injured in the hazing incident during an event sponsored by Phi Kappa Psi, university president Kenneth Ruscio said in a statement to the student body.

Where is the discipline of individual students--whether participants or knowing bystanders?
Washington & Lee needs better leadership.

Regarding fraternity student responsibility beyond actual perpetrators and knowing bystanders, what about the house president or house manager--did they know or should they have known?

In addition to action against the fraternity, non-innocent students should also face discipline, including suspension and expulsion. Was hazing house policy--formal or informal? If that be the case, the house officers such as the president and manager might have liability.
