Kettering student to build halftrack replica

I'd like to see pictures. I'd like to build an actual halftrack from scratch and/or restomod a M1 Dodge or Autocar. Plus those are 4wd. Hanomags are nice and sleek, but what sleekness do you need for 25-30mph?
