When I started watching the show I loved it, about a year ago. Kate was somewhat nice, kinda stressed. It is my opinion that over the last season the popularity of there series has gone to her head. Where has her sister-in-law been? Or Beth? Are they too getting fed up with her B*&%&ness? The way she degrades Jon, no wonder he takes off when he can.
As for any couple it is sad to see a marriage dissolove however, constant nagging and complaining can only deteriotate a relationship.
Jon enjoy your time away...you deserve it. I hope you dont come home to more nagging.
BTW, I dont watch the show that often anymore just for that reason...nagging

I think everyone needs to lay off....I have been watching the show for awhile and I had NO IDEA these discussion boards,blogs and ect where this nasty and negitive!! This couple was given an opportunity to provide a better quality of life for their oversized family ...and I say good for them for grasping it...in these hard economical times I think I would have done the same thing!! As far as personally attacking them for absolutely everything I cannot believe it!! Yes they have put themselves out there on national television but c'mon do you really have to rip them apart????? What really got to me was a "blurp"
about their daughter Mady needing more dicipline or medication I couldn't believe it!!! From what I see they are very loving parents and those kids are getting everything they need!! I think if cameras were in our own homes 24/7 I KNOW everyone would be judging and analizing us ...my point is before you condem this family take a look at your own lives!!
One more thing in their theme song it says "this is our family we may not be perfect but its OUR life" Did all you haters miss that one?

Google "Aunt Jodi". Find out that when TLC finally said they should pay AUnt Jodi, Kate refused and demanded she be taken off the show (and out of her life as well). Google Beth, and find how likewise she has become an "unneeded" person. Ultimately, it's TLC's fault. They take a young family with an overwhelming number of children -- and a young mother with documented polycystic ovary syndrome(the cause of Kate's infertility), which can make a woman prone to depression and hormonal mood swings -- and film them for our entertainment. Clearly this family needed psychological intervention, and TLC should have seen that it was done (caught it early enough, and they could have even kept up with the show in some format. A family this big does need income). Instead, now for our entertainment, is a family falling apart.

It makes a case for being careful with fertility drugs, though.
