Illinois college chiefs back Quinn call for more MAP money
The governor is trying to shore up support for his State of the State pledge to increase funding for the Monetary Assistance Program, or MAP, a program that awards grants to students whose parents earn, on average, no more than $35,000 a year.

Non one's knocking funding so that Jimmy and Sally can attend keggers with impunity, but when you consider the fact that legally and mathematically, our governor is Bill Brady of Bloomington, it kind of negates any useful impact in anything being currently done in Sangamon-fricking-County.
