1) You don't demolish, what you do not yet have the money to replace. If I was an alum, I'd encourage others to Not give. Your plan is based upon the "credit society" which is dying all around us.
2) You won't *have* the necessary funds, by 2013. Or 2014. Possibly not 2015. See #1, Above.
3) There Is No "Main St. Corridor". It's US 51. Stop renaming things, you pablum sucking babies. It is a United States *Highway*. Its designated #, is "51". Renaming a part of town, doesn't make it something new. Particularly a part You don't truly control. If you doubt me, check with the Highway Commission.
But, you never check with anyone, do you?
