Putting utilities underground on Main Street is in fact a great first step in very much needed improvements to the appearance of High Point. If we want to increase our tax base, support local businesses, and attract new ones then we must return Main Street to a destination area. Well done Mayor and Council. Don't stop this kind of effort please. Lets make Main Street look like Furniture Market year-round. That would solve a lot of issues wouldn't it?
