I don't know why Congress doesn't see that legalizing marijuana and taxing it like they do tobacco would most likely eliminate our national debt in a few years, and we would have money to repair our infrastructure, and greatly improve our education and social programs that keep children in school.
The taxes on it and the savings on the "war on drugs" would amount to a real plus in government budgets.
