Young people only know what they're indoctrinated with. That's why wise people are always OLD people. Young people are taught...wisdom comes from experience. Young people are the soft targets of Liberals because they are suggestible and idealistic. Wisdom comes only with life experience. Wise people value history; they revere it and the Founding Fathers who were brilliant men with uncanny foresight....and with a too fresh understanding of what life is like under the thumb of tyrannical governments. Kids today have no appreciation of what that could be like, so they easily dismiss the importance of the tenuous Liberty they have for-now.

If guns are gone, so is life as we know it. All one need do is study all the tyrants who flourished and you will learn that the systematic and incremental disarming of the People was a linchpin of their enslavement of those people. Our second amendment is not about hunting, it is to protect ALL of our Rights from overreaching government. 2A is the ultimate equalizer. Without 2a, there would be no 1A.
