Any force in civil society that contests the right of business to grab all social surplus, and to treat people like roadkill and the earth like a sewer, should be crushed.

Rick Scott Admits He Was in Colorado for Koch Brothers Retreat

Pasted from < http://blogs.browardpalmbeach.com/pulp/2011/0... ;

We finally have an answer as to where Gov. Rick Scott was this weekend, and it confirms our suspicion: at the billionaire Koch brothers' secret conference outside Vail, Colorado.

snip:

Scott didn't get too specific on what he did at the Koch retreat.

snip:

It makes you wonder if Scott was hiding the fact that he attended the Koch brothers' conference until everyone started asking where he was.

snip:

A few other politicians headed to the conference had no problems revealing they were going on the trip, like Texas Gov. Rick Perry and Virginia's Gov. Robert McDonnell and Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli.

But trying to conceal himself from the media isn't helping him, as mentioned in today's profile on Scott from the New York Times.

At least he's finally admitted to trysting with the richest and most powerful conservative political donors in the nation.

snip:

"Rick Scott leaving FL w/out telling anyone during state of emergency to brag to Kochs about killing 100k jobs was completely irresponsible," he posts on Twitter.
