Educational benefits for the children/family of Harvard

I am trying to find out if I remember correctly an issue from the late 80's. I was getting ready to apply for a job (union, janitorial), and was told that one of the perks was tuition assistance for my son, if he were accepted. Am I mis-remembering? I would appreciate any input. I may have offended a current Harvard employee in a debate. Thanks for any help. [email protected]
